4:30–5:30pm: Re*Imagine Open House — Re*Imagine is here to educate through creativity to re-think taking what would have been considered trash and turning it into a creative piece of art or treasure. This creative process happens in our Imagination Station with a plethera of trinkets and craft items to create with. And we are always getting random items in from people in the community who want to see items re-used instead of in the landfill. The Open House will include a tour of the store (including a special tour of rare items collected that isn’t out for viewing yet), as well as discussions and idea sharing for Re-purposing items. Light snacks & beverages will be provided.
5:30–7:00pm: Green Drinks at The Buck — The focus of The Buck will always be on local food and local people. The Buck also specializes in offering a topnotch selection of rotating Michigan craft beers and food sourced as locally as possible. The Buck has switched over to Compostable straws, to-go boxes, etc., and have also installed a recycling program. Owner Ken Kozminski will discuss green & sustainable food, beer, and recycling in the restaurant and brewery industry.
